RESERVATION DEPOSIT

To reserve your spot on a KBB Retreat, we require a non-refundable deposit of $500 USD. Once we have received your deposit or proof of payment, your reservation is officially confirmed. This deposit counts as a downpayment on your total amount. 

TOTAL COST & REMAINING BALANCE

The retreat house will be booked according to the size of the group, once deposits have been received and the deposit deadline has passed. You will then have the opportunity to select your room preference and confirm your participation in the photoshoot, which will determine your total cost and the remaining balance to be paid in advance of the retreat.

The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days in advance of the retreat. If we do not receive your remaining balance on time, your spot will be made available to another guest, and you will forfeit your deposit.

• Total Cost per person includes shared room, meals and snacks, tickets/fees for all group activities, KBB Retreat gift bags (including official KBB Retreat T-shirt and goodies!), local transportation to and from the retreat house and group activities.
• Room Rates will vary based on rooms available (e.g. Shared King Bed, Single, or Double-Occupancy Rooms, etc.)
• Total Cost per person does NOT include participation in the photoshoot, professional hair & make-up services, airfare, and costs associated with individual activities on your own, during personal time (meals, transportation/parking, entry fees, etc).
• NOTE: Photoshoot participation is optional, and will be at an additional (separate) cost from retreat attendance. We will provide pricing and additional details about the photoshoot and hair and make-up services for you to consider before confirming your participation.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

The deposit is non-refundable, as it covers the work required to find a replacement or the expenses incurred due to a vacancy. Due to non-recoverable payments that must be made in advance to secure the retreat, exceptions to our policies cannot be made for any reason, including health conditions, family or work emergencies, inclement weather, or change of mind. If you cannot reach the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances such as strikes, weather circumstances, and missed, delayed or canceled flights, the retreat fees remain non-refundable. If you arrive late or need to leave the retreat early, you will not receive a refund on the remaining time of your scheduled stay.

More than 30 days before the retreat start date: you may transfer your deposit to another retreat within 12-months of the deposit payment, provided another retreat is available, or you may transfer your deposit to a friend for the retreat for which you made the deposit. In case of cancellation*, the deposit of $500 USD will be forfeited. If you have already paid the remaining balance, this will be refunded.

Within 30 days of the retreat start date: Changes are no longer possible and payments are non-refundable. Should you need to cancel* within 30 days of the retreat start date, all payments made to-date will be forfeited.

After the retreat begins: If at any time after you check in for a retreat, you decide to leave*, no refunds will be offered.

*If the cancellation is for a medical or other emergency circumstance that cannot be avoided, (and can be proven), the deposit amount may be transferred to a future retreat, within 12-months of the start date of the retreat you could not attend.​

If we must cancel the retreat for any reason, you may transfer your full payment to another retreat, within 12 months of the start date of the canceled retreat​, or you may request a full refund of your payment to us. However, we are not responsible for any expenses incurred in preparation for the retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, visas fees and/or other costs associated with preparation for your trip. 

TRAVEL & HEALTH INSURANCE

We highly recommend guests purchase travel insurance that covers cancellations, including any illness related cancellations. 

Your participation in the retreat activities is at your own risk, and you must employ your own judgment as to which movements, positions, exercises and excursions are appropriate for your level of overall physical fitness and experience as well as mental stability. 

If you do not live in the country where the retreat takes place, it is recommended that you have international health insurance that covers medical care and transport home, in the event of an emergency. 

OUR RIGHTS

We reserve the right to remove a participant from the retreat if their behavior is disruptive, with no refunds given. We reserve the right to keep a guest liable if she brings damage to the retreat house, nature or belongings of any retreat hosts, or participants. 

We reserve the right to change the itinerary of the retreat at any time.
